Report from the Presidency conference held on March 24-25, 2009, Prague, Prague Congress Center.
The conference provided a discussion platform on the influence of research infrastructures (RI) on the development of regions, on the existence and further development of the knowledge triangle within the research infrastructures and the importance of e – infrastructures to the competitiveness of Europe. The conference aimed at policy makers, researchers and managers of research infrastructures.
The main topics tackled at the conference were:
- Influence of RIs on training and knowledge production;
- Influence of RIs on innovation and knowledge transfer;
- Visions, roadmaps and joint programming;
- Evaluation, governance and financial tools for the development of RIs.
This conference supported the CZ PRES priority in research and development – the development of excellent research infrastructures throughout Europe.
