‘Research Connection 2009’ will provide information and show successful experiences related to three major EU research and innovation programmes which are the Seventh Framework Programme for research 2007-2013, the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme and the Structural Funds 2007-2013.
An exciting selection of 50 EU-funded projects will be exhibited. This will provide participants with successful examples, existing partnerships and live experiences, with the aim of promoting networking and integration of research activities in Europe.
During the two days, a dedicated programme will be proposed to science and technology journalists, European press, audiovisual media and press agencies. Thematic briefings, concrete achievements, new results and coming out from European projects will be presented to newsroom participants.
The event is organized under the Czech Presidency of the European Union and under the 2009 European Year of Creativity and Innovation.
